Two selections from a CD recorded by the Samford University A Cappella Choir received national exposure on the Nov. 5 broadcast of a syndicated program of sacred music.

JOY!, a program produced by KFUO-FM in St. Louis, Mo., and syndicated to more than 60 radio stations, featured "My God Is So High" (arr. Moses Hogan) and "He's Got the Whole World" (arr. Ray Liebau). The pieces are from the choir's CD, "O Magnum Mysterium: The Life of Jesus in Choral Music."

"O Magnum Mysterium" includes repertoire performed by the choir on its 2000 spring tour and home concert. Samford School of Music Dean Dr. Milburn Price conducts the 66-member choir.

CD copies may be ordered from the School of Music, Samford University, Box 292242, Birmingham, AL 35229. Cost is $15 per copy, plus $2 for handling costs. Checks should be made payable to Samford University. For information, telephone (205) 726-2778.
