On Jan. 12, 2024, Dean Michael Crouch hosted the annual State of the School address for Samford University’s McWhorter School of Pharmacy. During the address he presented school accomplishments over the past year and shared a vision for the year ahead.Crouch said, “This annual event is a time to reaffirm the school’s vision of preparing pharmacists who transform lives. Our faith calls us to a greater purpose as educators and professionals, and it's central to what we do and what makes us different.”As part of the address, Crouch presented and distributed a white paper he wrote entitled, “The Pivotal Role of Pharmacists.” Within the paper, Crouch addresses the integral, expanding role pharmacists play in today’s health care system.
