Katie Hall is Samford 2004 Homecoming Queen

Katie Hall of Tyler, Texas, was chosen to reign as 2004 Homecoming queen at Samford University Saturday, Oct. 30. A senior communication studies major, she is the daughter of Jenny and Danny Hall.

She was crowned during halftime of the Samford Homecoming football game against Tennessee Tech University.
Sam Hawes of Plymouth, Ind., was elected to serve as honor escort to the queen. A senior English and Spanish double major, he is the son of Dare and Mike Hawes.

The Homecoming court also included seniors Hannah Hunter of Metairie, La., Jewel Littleton of Birmingham, Brian Pavlick of Montgomery and Josh Taylor of Sylacauga; juniors Matt Harrison of Huntsville and Lacey Sims of Magnolia Springs; sophomores D. J. Carter of Palm Beach Gardens, Fla., and Suzie Hornor of Germantown, Tenn; and freshmen Sophia Martorana of Monroeville and Paul McNeese of Montgomery.

Class representatives were chosen by members of the respective classes. The queen and honor escort were chosen by vote of the student body.
