During the fall 2012 convocation, Technology Services staff member and Senior Systems Analyst Abby Casey was presented with the President’s Service Award for 2012. Abby’s nomination was based on the systems, web applications and processes she has created for the university such as the University Ministries Convocation Tracking System, the Online Cadre applications for the Faculty, the Online Cadre Registration for students, Student Affairs’ online student voting, Transportation Services’ online decals and citations, the Purchasing P-Card process, and various online workflows for the Bursar’s Office and Human Resources. This is the third time in four years that a Technology Services employee was recognized at convocation, with Debi Whitcomb receiving the President’s Award in 2009 and Sherry Baldone receiving the Meritorious Service Award in 2011.
