New Student Computer Hardware Configuration
Recommended PC/MAC Laptop Hardware
Technology Services establishes recommended hardware guidelines to assist in purchasing a computer for use at Samford University. Check with your individual school or department for additional requirements.
Note: Check with your advisor to see if your major requires any specialty software.
PC/MAC — Minimum Configuration
Expect to use the computer for basic productivity, running multiple applications such as e-mail, web browsing, word processing, music and video players, and photo organization.
