Tom Fuller of Beeson Divinity School received this message last week from a prospective student:
"Let me begin by confessing that at 21 years of age, it takes a lot more to motivate me to write follow up letters than it should. However, the experience I had at Beeson was truly exceptional and I wanted to take a moment to tell you how much I enjoyed my visit last Friday. On the outset, Beeson was up to a nearly impossible task of meeting the expectations that the surrounding community has built up in me over the years. Trite as it may sound, my expectations were far exceeded. Of course, this is partially due to the fact that no amount of preparation can prepare someone for the magnificence of Andrew Hodges Chapel, but it is also due to the sincerity with which we were received by the staff. Each staff member, yourself included, combined to display an amazing range of leadership qualities. In a relatively short amount of time, it was readily apparent that Beeson’s staff has a clear vision and engages its students with passion, integrity, and enormous dedication. It was utterly refreshing to see these qualities at such an academically prestigious institution. Needless to say, Beeson has anchored its place on my seminary radar and set a high standard for those seminaries which I have yet to visit."
