Our Story

A senior at Samford, Jules Huff underwent surgery last week to allow one of her kidneys to be used to save the life of her uncle, who has a rare condition known as IGA nephropathy.  His kidney function was at five percent.   Jules discovered last semester that her kidneys were a perfect match, being tested and screened during the same days in which she was preparing for her senior recital.  By the way, the surgery has been deemed “very successful,” and Jules will be back at Samford this week, running a victory lap during her last semester of college.

Jules said it best in a message to me last week:  “God is so very good!”

The world is better because of Jules Huff.
