Bulldog Parents - Get ready for a weekend of fun on campus with your student. Go ahead and mark your calendar for Family Weekend 2013: September 27-28 and make plans to attend. Registration will open right here late summer 2013. Get ready to tailgate and relax on the Quad, meet other Samford families, and cheer the Bulldogs on to victory!

2012 Weekend Schedule
View the 2012 weekend schedule here. Many things are planned throughout the weekend including receptions, open houses, tailgating, sports, theatrical productions, and more. Note: The Family Weekend schedule is subject to changes between now and November 2nd. Please check the final schedule once you arrive to campus for Family Weekend for any adjustments that may occur.
Ticket Information
Family Weekend tickets for 2012 will be sold a la carte. This allows you and your family to purchase tickets for the events you plan to attend. There is no charge for children ages 0-2 (please adhere tothe honor system). Family Weekend tickets purchased after October 12th will increase in price. Online registration will close at 2pm on Wednesday, October 31st. After October 31st, you will still be able to register for Family Weekend by going to the Howard Room (University Center) and registering in person beginning at 4:00 p.m. on Friday, November 2nd. Check or cash (no credit cards) will be accepted for registrations made in person. Credit cards can be used for online ticket purchases.
T-Shirt
Family Weekend 2012 long sleeve t-shirts can be purchased for $15 until October 12th and $20 after October 12th.
Registration
Online Registration is the preferred method for registering for Family Weekend. Samford uses a secure server to process credit card payments. However, if you do not want to place your order online, please print the paper/mail-in registration form and address to: Samford University, Attn: Kelia Furr, 800 Lakeshore Drive, Birmingham, AL 35229, with your check enclosed. Mailed-in registration forms must be postmarked by October 12th.
Accommodations
Blocks of rooms have been reserved at a discounted rate for Samford families during Family Weekend at Aloft Hotel - Homewood ($109/night) and Hampton Inn - Mountain Brook ($89/night).
