About Central Campus

Loading...

Located in the heart of Samford's beautiful campus is the Central Campus housing area. The majority of freshmen students make their home in Central Campus, making the area lively with their new discoveries and relationships. Along with a small number of involved upperclassmen, the freshmen of Central Campus live and learn together in three residence halls: Smith, Pittman, and Vail Halls. The dedicated residence hall staff of one Residence Life Educator, two Resident Managers, three Senior Resident Assistants, and thirty Resident Assistants work to keep Central Campus a safe and fun place for dreams to blossom.

Residence Halls

John D. Pittman Hall

With forty nine rooms and about ninety residents, centrally located Pittman Hall is a tight knit community.

Lena Vail Davis Hall

Affectionately called "Vail," Lena Vail Davis Hall is the largest residence hall on campus with 198 rooms and almost 400 residents.

Mamie Mell Smith Hall

Smith Hall is a large men's residence hall with 103 rooms and almost 200 residents.
