About Beeson Woods

Loading...

Beeson Woods is home to 592 students and is located east of the Ralph W. Beeson University Center. Our area consists of 13 residence halls. Twelve of the halls have the same format each containing 10 suites (except Rosa Hall which has 12 suites). Each suite is home to four residents and contains two bedrooms, two bathrooms, and a living/common area that includes a kitchenette. The thirteenth residence hall, Evergreen, is home to 105 residents and is a semi-traditional residence hall in which two adjacent rooms housing two residents each share a bath.

Beeson Woods is staffed by one Residence Life Educator (RLE), one Resident Manager (RM), two Senior Resident Assistants (SRA's) and fifteen Resident Assistants (RA). Our staff continually works hard to create an environment that contributes to students' academic, social and spiritual growth.

Beeson Woods houses upper classmen students. Our residents are involved in all aspects of campus life and consider this area of campus a melting pot from which you can meet all of the students represented at Samford University. Beautiful, large trees surround Beeson Woods, giving it a secluded yet warm, natural feel. All of our Residence Halls are only a short distance from the bridge that connects Beeson Woods to the main Campus located at the Sciencenter. Beeson Woods is eclectic, charming and fun. Come visit the "Woods".
