Frederick Elected Samford Student Government President

Beebe Ray "Bee" Frederick III, a junior communication studies major from Montgomery, has been elected 2009-2010 president of the Samford University Student Government Association.

Frederick was elected last week by vote of the undergraduate student body.

Other newly elected SGA officers are Sam Dickerson of Booneville, Miss., vice president for senate; Jay Harper of Clinton, Ark., vice president for events; Terra Garmon of Gadsden, vice president for programming; and Tessa Pitts of Lanett, vice president for development.

The officers will take office at a banquet on Tuesday, April 28.
