Samford University's Beeson Divinity School will host the 14th annual Samford Pastors School July 23-27.
"Declare These Things," based on Titus 2:15, is the theme for the week.
The four-day conference will feature workshops, plenary sessions, Bible studies, roundtable discussions and fellowship opportunities to renew and equip pastors and their families.
Featured speakers include Calvin A. Miller, author, former pastor and now professor of divinity at Beeson; Haddon W. Robinson, professor of preaching at Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary, South Hamilton, Mass.; Ralph D. West, pastor of the 10,000-member Church Without Walls, Houston, Texas; and William H. Willimon, author, lecturer and dean of the chapel, Duke University, Durham, N.C.
Alistair Begg, senior pastor, Parkside Church, Chagrin Falls, Ohio, will be the plenary Bible teacher. A native of Scotland, he is involved in an international teaching and evangelism ministry, and is a daily speaker on the national radio program, "Truth for Life."
Programs are planned throughout the week for spouses and children. On-campus housing is available.
Registration check-in begins at 9:30 a.m. on Monday, July 23. The opening meal and worship with Haddon Robinson will be held that evening. A pre-conference workshop, "Money: From Management to Ministry," will be held 10 a.m.-4 p.m. on Monday, July 23.
