Support Samford On Alabama Gives Day
by Brad Radice
Thursday, February 2 , is Alabama Gives Day, a special opportunity for Samford family and friends to make a contribution to the university.
If it were not for donors, students like Molly Cox, a Samford senior, would have missed out on the Samford experience.
“Financial assistance made this unique college experience a possibility for myself and 98 percent of other Samford students,” Molly explains. “Without the generous contributions of Samford donors, I would have not benefited from those pieces of the Samford experience that are so distinct.”
Molly adds that Samford’s Christian setting has impacted her academics as well as her spiritual growth.
“My Samford education has given me four years of encouraging professors, financial support, and a spiritual journey that shaped who I am today.”
On Thursday, head to Alabama Gives Day: Samford University to pledge your support of Samford University.
As a member of the Class of 2012, Molly hopes you do.
“I have been blessed so much in the Samford community,” Molly says. “This is why I have made a gift, and plan to continue after commencement in May.”
