Cumberland Negotiation Team Heads To National Competition
The negotiation team representing Samford University's Cumberland School of Law qualified for national competition after finishing second in recent regional competition sponsored by the American Bar Association [ABA].
Teammates John Crescenzi and Doug Dahl, both of Birmingham, were judged second best of 24 teams from 13 law schools in the southeastern and northeastern U.S.
They will compete in national negotiation competition in February. The national finals will be held in conjunction with the ABA mid-year meeting in Salt Lake City, Utah.
Cumberland professor and associate dean Henry Strickland coaches the negotiation team.
