Jessica Terry, a sophomore piano performance major from Birmingham, was crowned Miss Samford University 2007 Friday evening.
Terry, 19, also won the evening's talent award for her performance of Rachmaninoff's "Polichinelle." Her pageant platform involves music for special needs children. She is the daughter of Joyce and Reed Terry.
Finalists were Payden George of Centre, first runner-up; and Amanda Tapley of Birmingham, second runner-up.
