The "Samford in Your City" spring tour continues with events scheduled in seven more locations during April.

The gatherings provide opportunities for alumni and parents to "reconnect with old friends, make new friends and help your alma mater," according to David B. Goodwin, Samford's director of alumni and parent programs.

University representatives will be on hand to host to each event and to provide updates about campus happenings, Goodwin said.

The April events continue a 28-city tour that began in January in Atlanta, Ga., and concludes with two events in Texas in June. Events were held earlier this month in Knoxville and Chattanooga, Tenn.
