Samford University’s School of the Arts will welcome celebrated organist Christopher Houlihan for a free, public master class and recital Oct. 26-27.
Houlihan is widely recognized as one of the most exciting concert organists of his generation. Last year, at the age of 24, he captured international acclaim with his performances of the six organ symphonies of Louis Vierne in marathon concerts in six major North American cities.
Houlihan’s master class will begin at 10:30 a.m. Oct. 26 in Reid Chapel. His recital will begin at 2:30 p.m. Oct.27 in Reid Chapel.
