Biographical Information

A National Hispanic Scholar, Lauren was salutatorian of her graduating class and an ambassador for her high school. At Samford, she made the Dean's List and received the Ruric E. Wheeler award. In her spare time, Lauren volunteers for NorthStar Youth Ministries Book Club and the Birmingham AIDS Outreach. Over the summer, she also volunteered with the New Vision Church summer reading program.
