Kathryn has been a dancer for fifteen years and a small business owner for seven. Through the Brock Scholars program, she is combining these interests into a degree in Arts Administration with a Dance minor. In her first two years at Samford, she excelled academically, joining the honors society Alpha Lambda Delta after her first semester and earning a place on the Dean's List for all four semesters. She has been involved on campus with Grace Dance Ministries, where she served on the leadership team as a teacher and choreographer for the past year. She has also had fantastic working experiences in her chosen field, through assisting at the Children's Dance Foundation, teaching a first grade ballet class at Briarwood Ballet, and spending a semester interning at the Red Mountain Theatre Company. During her junior year, Kathryn is looking forward to her new position as one of the directors of Grace Dance Ministry, as well as her work in helping Ballet Magnificat bring their production of the Snow Queen to the Wright Center stage.
