passion for mathematics that Samuel developed in high school has continued
through his years at Samford. He works as a tutor in the math center on campus,
competed with the Samford Math Jeopardy!
team at the 2014 convention of the Southeastern section of the Mathematical
Association of America, and was named the Most Outstanding Mathematics
Sophomore by the math department. In his spare time, Samuel pursues music; he
has played classical piano for over a decade, has won several awards, and plays
for his church. This fall, Sam will spend the semester studying in London at
the Daniel House.
