Biographical Information

Throughout high school, Rachel developed a passion for service. In addition to volunteering for over 300 hours in high school, Rachel also complete two month-long internships in Togo, Africa. She is a graduate of Student Leadership University, and has traveled to Europe through this leadership program. Additionally, Rachel held office in the National Honor Society each year of high school and served as team captain of her varsity volleyball team, while maintaining her 4.0 grade point average. She was named to the All Area and All–Regional volleyball teams and received the ACSI Distinguished Christian High School student Award in Athletics for most outstanding student-athlete. Rachel hopes to continue to develop her passion for service and academics while pursuing her nursing degree at Samford.
