Biographical Information
Abby, a Presidential Scholar, served as Student Council President of Hewitt-Trussville High School and was a member of the National Honor Society, Mu Alpha Theta, and the Biomedical Academy. She was awarded the Principal's Choice Award and the Most Outstanding English, Biomedical, and History Student for the senior class. Through her involvement in Student Council and mission work, she discovered she had a heart for helping people who are hurting both spiritually and physically around the world. She plans to attend medical school and use her degree to serve in mission opportunities locally and abroad. This summer, Abby worked at a pediatric dental office. In January of 2013, she will be traveling to Kenya and Uganda to volunteer in medical clinics and assist local churches.
