Biographical Information

Martin was captain of the debate team, Science Olympiad, and Scholars Bowl team. As a sophomore, he was national runner-up for the Ayn Rand Anthem essay contest. He also co-founded a construction-based service ministry called Hard Hat Ministries. Following his junior year, Martin was elected Lieutenant Governor of Alabama Boys State and Senator to Boys Nation. This year, Martin won 3^rd place in the Jefferson County Overall Student of Excellence Award. He also served on the Gardendale Junior City Council.
