Biographical Information

During high school, David received the Headmaster's Award and participated in several academic competitions in science and social studies. He was recognized as a National AP Scholar for high achievement on ten AP exams. He also excelled athletically in cross country and tennis, advancing to the state level in both. As a freshman, David was named to the dean’s list and was inducted into the Alpha Lambda Delta Honor Society. He serves on the Student Judiciary Committee and is currently the president of the Socratic Club. He also received the Mabry Lunceford Scholarship for Philosophy, and was invited to be a student marshal at graduation. Last summer, David participated in a month-long class and archeological dig in Israel. After returning to Texas, he volunteered at Brother Bill's Helping Hand, an outreach ministry in West Dallas.
