Biographical Information

Jordan, a National Merit Finalist, has maintained his stellar academic record in college. Last year, he was named honorable mention in the prestigious Goldwater Scholarship competition for his research proposal on pharmacoproteomics. He also published an essay entitled "The Brilliant Light of Happiness: The Challenge of Modernity in Tolstoy's Anna Karenina," which stemmed from a Fellows paper. This summer, Jordan interned as a medical research apprentice at Washington University in St. Louis. In addition to his academic accomplishments, Jordan volunteers at Hope Health Center and helped develop an ESL curriculum for a Hispanic church in Moody, AL.
