Biographical Information
In addition to being on the Dean's List every semester at Samford, Katie has also earned the Wheeler Medal, the Seal Medal, and the Wheeler Hawley Award for excellence in French. The summer after her freshman year, Katie studied abroad in Paris, France. When she is not focusing on her studies, Katie is a member of the University Fellows Leadership Council, A Capella Choir, Wordplayers, and Howard College Ambassadors. After performing with A Capella Choir in France earlier this summer, Katie spent several weeks in Hong Kong with her church. This fall, she is studying abroad in London.
