The mission of the Orlean Bullard Beeson School of Education is to guide, develop and challenge students academically, professionally, personally and spiritually to prepare leaders who will positively influence and shape society. The School strives to provide the highest quality Christian education led by a dedicated faculty and staff committed to student success.
Our School is divided up into three dynamic departments - Curriculum and Instruction (Teacher Education), Human Development and Family Life Education and Educational Leadership.
- Curriculum and Instruction - This department houses our nationally-recognized teacher education programs. Undergraduate programs offered are Early Childhood/Special Education/Elementary/Collaborative (ESEC) and Secondary Education for students who wish to major in subjects taught in high schools. Graduate programs include two Fifth-Year Non-Traditional programs in Elementary and Secondary Education along with online offerings for Gifted Master’s program, Elementary Master’s and Teacher Leader program at the educational specialist level.

- Human Development and Family Life Education - This department includes the undergraduate program in Human Development and Family Science, with concentrations in child development education, child life education and gerontology. Students also have the opportunity to study in the 3+3 law program.
- Educational Leadership - Graduate programs offered in this department include Instructional Leadership at the master’s and educational specialist level along with new online offerings for the Doctorate in Educational Leadership and non-certified Master's in Educational Leadership: Policy, Organizations and Leadership.
