Newsletters, Blogs and Other Electronic Communication
Many departments and program areas may choose to develop regular electronic communication with specific constituent groups. These may include blast email messages, e-newsletters and blogs, among others. Electronic communication to external constituents should be reviewed and approved by the Office of Marketing and Communication to ensure that the communication meets the university's branding guidelines for style, accuracy and message consistency. The Office of Marketing and Communication can assist in developing templates for electronic communication.
Offices sending electronic communication are encouraged to use databases maintained by the University Advancement donor relations office to ensure current, verified information.
