Periodically, the university will develop partnerships with other organizations and entities that impact and extend the Samford University brand. All brand partnerships should positively reflect the overall mission of the university and support the university’s marketing and branding strategies.
Samford University values its historic relationship with Alabama Baptists and partners with the Alabama State Baptist Convention on several projects each year. The university also receives significant annual funding from the Alabama State Baptist Convention, a majority of which is returned to students through financial aid.
The university has a health-care partnership with St. Vincent’s Health Systems in Birmingham through the University Health Services.
Several organizations and corporations provide significant sponsorship funding for programs and events that result in cobranding opportunities for the university and the sponsor.
