Katie Warlick is originally from the Mississippi Delta, receiving her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Painting and Bachelor of Art Education from Delta State University. More recently, she completed her Master of Education in Art from Mississippi College.

Katie has taught grades K-12th, 2-D, and 3-D art mediums. She has exhibited and won awards for competitive shows in acrylic and fiber arts.

Starting a new chapter, Katie, along with her husband, Rob, and dog, Ethel, just relocated to Birmingham, where she works as a production thrower at Earthborn Pottery. Katie enjoys continuing to develop her personal work, focusing on her two favorite mediums - acrylic and clay.

Katie joins the Academy of the Arts Fall 2023 teaching Children, Teens, High School, Home School, and Acrylics Painting classes.
